Description
The Tarmac is Specialized's pure bred race bike. The custom paint job is a nod to Nibali's menacing nickname, the Shark of Messina. Nibali was born in the city of Messina on the island of Sicily. It's a very rare colour scheme that is a true head turner and you will be hard pressed to find another like this! It reminds us of the "Shark Teeth" nose art used by the US airforce on its P-40 Warhawks airplanes during the Second World War.
A internal binder bolt in the frame eliminates the need for an external seatpost clamp. Pink striping down the back of the seat tube is a nod to Nibali's overall GC win at the 2013 Giro d'Italia.

The Vision Metron 30 SL Carbon Clincher Wheelset is Crafted with full carbon rims, these clinchers are a perfect blend of strength and lightweight agility. At a mere 1,350g per pair, they make each pedal stroke a leap towards exhilarating speed. The wheelset's 30mm deep section rim slices through the airel. The tubeless-ready feature brings a new level of versatility, and with new PRA hubs and DP spokes, supported by six sealed cartridge bearings, the ride is as smooth as it is efficient. Condition
This bike is in good condition but may have a few cosmetic blemishes, all of which have been photoed and mostly unnoticeable. Mechanically, it has smooth gear shifts and responsive brakes. The right hand shifter can sometimes be a bit intermittent, I will try and replace this for the new owner. Bearings smooth all round.
