Description
The Pinarello Prince FX Disc is a very fast bike, pure and simple. Both frame and fork are hugely stiff which, when paired with the fast and direct steering, gives you a ride experience that will leave a massive grin on your face.
Pitched as an all-round road bike, the Prince FX Disc (and all Prince) take much of their design lead from the Dogma. Geometries are so close that from a handling perspective there is unlikely anything between themBoth frames have flat back profiling for aerodynamic advantage, the dual position and recessed water bottle mounts on the downtube which curves over the front wheel, the fork flap at the drop-out for improved airflow over the quick release lever. The 'nose' of the frame - the headtube - protrudes over the claiper to enhance airflow and it is a similar story at the rear. The most significant change is in the construction of the frames: The Prince FX Disc uses a Torayca T900 (that's very very good, pro-tour carbon for those that don't know).
Condition
Bike is in excellent condition and has hardly been used but does have a few marks from storage. The gear shifts are nice and crisp whilst the brakes are sharp. Smooth bearings all round including the bottom bracket, headset, hub and freehub bearings. Absolutely no cracks whatsoever.
