Description

Cervelo describes the S3 Disc as their “workhorse.” It’s aerodynamic, stiff, and fast and meant to help dedicated road riders achieve their goals. The stiffness does come at the expense of some comfort, so it’s not suited for more recreational style riding. It’s ideal for any rider who wants the greatest speed advantage possible when riding and competing with friends or in races.  Made from a proprietary carbon fibre and formed into Cervelo's now famous Squoval tube shapes, this frame offers the rider an impressive stiffness, strength and rigidity when putting down the power.  Conceived to enhance the aerodynamic efficiency of the bike as it surges forward, this squoval tubing and fork leg airfoil offer a 2 Watt saving over the previous edition. Equivalent to 19 grams, this saving is coupled with a 9% improvement in stiffness at the bottom bracket area, and a 40 gram reduction in frame weight. Paring things back and helping you plough ahead, this advance marks an impressive and elite level of construction.

Equipped with Shimano 105 gear shifting system. Smoothly slotting your derailleur and chain into place, this component set provides a great balance between durability and efficiency. Swift and smooth and comes with a comprehensive gearing ratio. Disc brake equipped, this bike offers enhanced stopping power, and makes sure that you can edge out an advantage when tackling rolling turns.

Condition

The bike is in good condition but does have a few minor unnoticeable scratches/chips.  There is some slight wheel rub on the inside of the chainstay on the non-drive side but the carbon structure remains solid.  The bike has been freshly built and the groupset works flawlessly, bearings smooth all round and brakes are strong.  Everything has lots of life left in it.
